Campaign Theme for City Council Election

A VOTE FOR BILL KNIGHT in the October 9 primary election will be a VOTE for someone you can trust and count on to do a good job on our City Council.

Greensboro City Council is not listening to the voters. Our citizens want city government to provide
  • Leadership without influence from special interest groups
  • Competent management
  • NO tax increases and control over money spent
  • A cleansing of the Greensboro Police Department's bad apples
  • Full disclosure on the GPD investigation

You have a choice on election day. If you are satisfied with the performance of the City Council and City Manager you can vote for Council members who will continue along the same lines; or, if you are tired of poor leadership and want meaningful change and a return to good city government you can vote in a new slate of candidates who will bring real change. If you want change vote for me!

Vote for Bill Knight, candidate at-large, in the October 9 primary and November 6 general election.

"Full disclosure on the GPD investigation."

Bill, does that reflect a philispohical promise to the voters of transparent government beyond this single issue?

City government must always be accessible and open to the citizens it serves. Let the chips fall as they may.

Respect for laws, existing ordinances or policies, courtesy to employees, and common sense should suffice for City Council to discharge its obligation to always be forthright and open - and at the earliest possible time.

I hope this answers the question.
